"Emigrant Greeks",Cultural Identity and the media of the Greek Diaspora
How do the Greeks who live in foreign countries identify themselves? How do they perceive their homeland? This book attempts to explore these questions by analyzing the media of the Greek Diaspora and its content. It analyzes the development of the Greek media, especially in the USA and Australia, from 1958 to 1998. The research is focused on the changes in the agenda of these media as well their discourse by analyzing the publications of the Greek speaking newspapers of the Diaspora.
